When you pull up your calendar, there will be an "undated" folder with a drop down arrow.  You can delete the old events that are still listed in new courses by clicking on the event and selecting delete. It will prompt you to ensure you want to delete the event.   After you have deleted all of the events, they will be removed from your syllabus summary page.    ... View more

This bug is a HUGE pain.  I have seen it addressed several times by people who do not actually understand the problem. I really wish Canvas would fix this. Nobody actually wants old events imported.
