Adding a vote here too for New Quizzes to have the Plagarism Framework capability added so that submissions of text questions can be sent off to Turnitin and managed appopriately. At the moment we extract and compile and upload as zip responses. However, there is no API hook on the Turnitin side to automate this, so this last step is manual, and we are having difficulty supporting this for hundreds of quizzes at a time during central exam periods.
Turnitin have advised they will not do any development to streamline this unless instructure move to add the CPF.

Just wondering if this issue has moved at all? We would agree that this seems a bit obtuse and works against an institution trying to centrally manage gender pronouns as a normal attribute for any staff or student user rather than as a special case.

This is a particular issue that has caused us some confusion with students - but taken more broadly, it is indicative of a broader issue of UX, and honouring an intentioned setting. That is, if something is hidden, the system should not send out alerts, updates, notices etc even if people are subscribed for such, as this intention of hiding something should be honoured as an indication the actions were/are not to be shared. The recent change to files for assessments been hidden by default and notices not going out to students (which also burned us an issue before fix) is a good start and case in point of this set of issues.
