And, before it told me each student's score on the list of students. I send a message to students who missed an assignment and another to students who scored below a C. When I ask Canvas to send a message to those who scored below a C, it also gives me students with zero. I then have to open the gradebook in another screen to see who scored a zero and then x them out. Before it showed me each person's score, that is very helpful. Please bring that back.

Why can't imported pages write over existing pages? Why do they have to have a -2 on them? This is so frustrating that I have to 1. delete the page without the -2, 2. rename the page with the -2 to remove that -2, 3. re-link all of the pages.

The scenario: a student messages me from the Canvas Inbox I get the message in my campus email I reply to say "send me a file" the student replies and attaches the file I never get it I tell the student to email me form his/her email program, not form canvas and not a reply to the message I get the attachment The same thing works when I try to send a file to a student. Why? And can this be fixed? Actually I only care about can this be fixed? Thanks. Anne

When I drag my mouse across a word or several words, in highlight or strike through mode, most of the time it doesn't work. Sometimes it does and that's always a surprise. Most if the time the only way I can get it to highlight or strike through is to double click on each word. I am using Chrome and a PC.

Hi Stefanie, I have a blueprint course with all of my common pages in it. I sync the child course for the current semester to the blueprint parent and then import the last semester's child course into the new child course for this semester to get all of the unique-to-this-course pages, files, etc. Every blueprint page comes in again in the import of last semester and they all get -2 at the end. I go in and delete all of these duplicates. If I forget and import last semester's class before syncing to blueprint, then the import from last semester gets the regular page name and the blueprint pages get the suffix in the name. Then I have to delete the regular file names and rename the blueprint names and then re-link all those pages to the many places they are linked. When I upload a file, Canvas asks me if I want to replace the current file with that same name or rename it. I would like content pages to be able to do that same thing. Thanks. Anne

Hi Chris, I'm investigating the Commons solution. If I export the OER textbook pages to Commons and then I want to update something at some point, I have to import that page to a Canvas "blueprint type" holding shell and then fix it and then send it back to commons and then import it into the live shell, yes? This is more work than just copying them from some holding "shell." This is why Blueprint would be great, I just go into the Blueprint, make the update and sync. BUt thank you for the idea. Anne

I would like to have two blueprint courses associated with one child course. For example, I have a blueprint course with all of my common pages for all my courses and that works great, but each course uses a OER different textbook. I would like a blueprint course for each of our OER textbooks' content pages. Then I can associate the OER blueprint with each applicable course.
