I am the Coordinator of AOS Faculty Support at Arkansas State University. This is for an 100% online large scale distance education program that has over 4,500 students. This team consists of four instructional designers, a videographer, a support staff member, graduate assistants, and student workers. I specifically work with Education Leadership.
In addition to being an instructional designer, I am an educator. I taught at the community college level in non-transferable credit computer training courses. I assisted life-long learners in using technology to communicate with their children and grandchildren. I also taught transitional English courses.
I have two Associate Degrees, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Learning Systems, Design, and technology. I am a K-9 Certified teacher in the State of Illinois.
My research interest include gamification, game-based learning, accessibility, and Quality Matters for course reviewing.
