When I go to find a rubric I've created and add it to an assignment, for some reason every course I've ever taught is listed and I have to scroll through pages of courses to find my current course. Rubrics should be prioritized to show the current course first if all courses are going to be shown. My recommendation is that only rubrics for the current course are shown and there is a button that the user can click to show other courses.

I am using New Quizzes and have used the File Upload question type. Is it possible for me to download all of the submissions for the whole class at once? Right now the only way I can access the files is to manually download each file for every student in my class.

Right now the Numeric question type in New Quizzes allow for one of the following types of answers: 1) Exact Response 2) Range of Response 3) Margin of Error 4) Precise Response In many areas of STEM, a precise response is a requirement due to the rules of significant figures. The way grading works right now, if you specify a range (or margin) and precise response the item is marked as correct only if ONE of the conditions is correct. For example, if you gave a range from 1.05 to 1.15, it would mark an answer of 1.051 as correct. However, when considering significant figures this answer is actually INCORRECT. The only way to code a question like this right now is to specify 10 precise response answers instead of a range and precise response with 3 significant figures. Users should be able to specify significant figures and one of the other three options. The logical structure should use an AND instead of an OR.

In terms of implementation, the fastest way to add increased functionality would be to add a new option for the "Open Entry" option in the Fill in the Blank question type. The "Text Match" option is too limited and cannot be easily applied to a numerical answer. For example, an answer of "0.12" would be graded as incorrect if the user entered ".12". Numerically, these are the same answer, but the auto-grader will grade this as incorrect. The simplest solution is to add a new answer type for "Open Entry" called "Numerical". The coding effort would be absolutely minimal. The logical structure from the Numeric question type grading can be used for this option. It should take no more than 1-2 days of coding to add this option in. It could even be something as simple as a 30 minute patch job.

It is absolutely abominable that the statistics cannot be downloaded. I concur with the others who have requested the start and submission time (and completion time). These are needed for academic misconduct and also for identifying students who click through surveys without reading them. The data in the Moderate tab also needs to be downloadable. I should be able to export the log data for students instead of being required to use the web interface.

Kona provided a solution that kind of works but what I want is not available. I still want the ability to download the data. I have to copy-paste the webpage in order to get it into a spreadsheet.

The point of downloading is to not have a tedious solution. If I have a class of 300 students, I don't want to manually grab each person.

Please implement this. We have multiple sections of course that have to use the same basic group set configrations with assignments linked to particular group sets. Having to recreate this by hand for 10+ sections EVERY time is absolutely asinine. I can't believe that Canvas cannot do what every other LMS is capable of. This should not be difficult to code.
