Giving learners an editable feedback document -- workarounds? Teachers at my institution often request the ability to give learners a marked document with suggested amendments, which they could then edit and resubmit. (This was possible on previous platforms.) ... |

Yes - Please allow us to choose partial credit (or not) on any and all of the question types! I just used a category style question on a quiz with my students and made it worth 8 points and discovered after the students took the quiz that it was all or nothing so students who got 7/8 in the correct category got 0 points. I can see the need to sometimes have it be all or nothing, but we need to have the choice. If it defaults to the wrong choice or we choose the wrong option and need to change it, we need to be able to go back in to edit mode and have it auto grade the change. Regrading each one manually or with fudge points etc, is not practical with 240 students. Please make this change! Also it would be helpful to new users to add the word EDIT to the BUILD button on New Quizzes - it takes many teachers too many searches and questions to figure out that BUILD = EDIT.

Hi Jeff! Thank you for the questions, I'm actually working on some resources to come out specifically addressing how Question Banks become Item Banks. A new screencast will be posted as well around the time that the migration tool goes into production environments. You're feedback is a big help in planning out what resources we need as users plan their transitions. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with any LTI plug-ins. If I am remembering correctly, one of the selling points ten years ago was that people could download the zip files to their laptops, go offline and do all their grading and then when back online, package up the zip file and re-upload. Makes me think about how much the world has changed in a decade - wifi and cellular connections are nearly everywhere and most people's connections are fast enough now and their storage drives big enough that they have little need of zipping things.
