Hey All, I have a student whose parents block YouTube at home. Is there a way for me to add YouTube to Canvas that will still work when the student is home? Could I upload it into Studio? Use the embed code from YouTube? Someone mentioned using Screencastify to record the YouTube video and then add to Canvas. UGH! Not something I want to do. Any other good ideas? Thanks, Cheri

I have a student who cannot access a teacher-created quiz in new quizzes. The teacher requires a password and when the student enters the password, the submit button is unavailable (grayed out). Anyone have this issue? Any ideas on what to do? Thanks, Cheri

I have a parent with students at 2 different middle schools. I cannot pair her with both students. I can easily pair when the students come from elementary, middle, or high, but not this time. I have tried adding the pairing code myself and using the QR code generated by the student. Neither worked. What am I missing? She has since created two parent accounts, one for each child. Can I merge the two together? Thanks for any assistance, Cheri

Hi Chofar, I will try and address your questions. No, my school does not block YouTube with GoGuardian. This is one specific student and the request is from a very, very involved parent who wants YouTube blocked during the school day. What I meant by "shared with students" was instead of embedding the video using share directly from YouTube, embedding from Canvas Studio in an assignment using the RCE. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Studio/How-do-I-use-Canvas-Studio-through-the-Rich-Content-Editor/ta-p/1714 . If a video from Youtube is uploaded into Studio and then shared with students, is there a way to make sure students cannot access Youtube after? This assumes they are blocked by GoGuardian or other tools. Thanks.
