Hi, Haley, Canvas doesn't include native offline support. At least right now—maybe in the future! The options we do support is visibility of HTML content and/or ePub exports offline. Both of these features have to be allowed by your Canvas administrator. Both allow users to view offline content and is useful for viewing assignment details, point values, discussion and quiz descriptions, pages, and course files. Students could certainly work on assignments offline (as they'll be able to read the assignment instructions), for instance, and then submit it when they are connected again. If you're interested, here's how each feature works (only one can be enabled for an account): Offline HTML: How do I view course content offline as an HTML file as an instructor? ePub File:How do I view course content offline as an ePub file as an instructor? If you want to share this information with your Canvas admin, instructions for enabling offline content is in How do I set details for an account? and instructions for enabling ePub exports is https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10881-4214158370 (look for the ePub Exporting feature option).
