@chadscott - Thanks for another great script. Although I can't use it(I am an instructor, and doubt that my teacher role will give me permissions), I still look at the scripts. ONe thing I don't like are all the warning signs that show up in the scripts(just me, I know the work). But since you wrote about always learning about improving your scripts, I found the following on stack overflow relating to most of the warnings involving the $ use. So I thought I would pass it along. At the header part of the script, add one line as shown below to remove the warnings on the $ // ==/UserScript== /* eslint-env jquery */ <==== add this line here is the stack overflow post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39510736/eslint-dollar-is-not-defined-no-undef Ron Also, I forgot to mention that (as you may already know) include is being deprecated and that match should be used instead. I did check my ability to use the script and I could bulk delete students if I wanted, but for my role, I have no need to do that.

Thank you for sharing this idea with the Instructure Community! The Product Team reviewed all feature proposals recently, and unfortunately, this thread was identified as one that they would not be able to include in their current or future plans. While we appreciate your proposal, we also want to be transparent about the likelihood of something like this making it to production. Thank you for collaborating, and we hope that you submit another idea in the future!

Hello, I've had several calls from faculty members who are frustrated with this. It's very disheartening to have to tell them that "yeah, new quizzes takes this long..." when everything else in our world is almost instantaneous. Can you please implement some boost so that reports can be live and in real time? Thanks! peg

No, unfortunately no one replied. I'm not sure Canvas has any good way of searching for all of the data associated with a particular student. It would be nice to have an official answer on this from Instructure.

The purpose of " Process as UI changes" should be to process the feed file as a batch of manual (UI-created) enrollments. The fact that Canvas is ignoring this option and setting the created_by_sis flag to true is a bug. We need to notify Instructure of this problem.

I added this code to our global js file, but it seemed to have no effect at all. Has this become an outdated method?

@James Thanks for your reply. I was referring to the Tampermonkey script. I like the idea that the subaccount names would be included without any additional effort. But I do see that Canvas's built-in Provisioning Report is a viable option also. Thank you.

I would like to request a new report based off of LTI tools in Canvas. Here at our University we have many LTI tools. Over the years some of these tools have been replaced with a newer version of the vendor's technology which requires us to add a new tool or we've chosen to part ways with a vendor. This leaves us with some tools that can be deleted once a certain amount of time has passed. Currently there isn't a way with the existing reports to find out the last time one of the LTI tools were used. I would like a new report that lists all of the LTI tools that are in Canvas along with the date and course that they were last used in. This will help us keep track of these tools so we can safely delete them from Canvas once, if any, regulatory expirations run out.

I just tested this in our environment and it works as expected. Only Display Name is editable.

Wow! Just wow! Thank you! One question which is not clear from the documentation--if you previously use the status "deleted" and have several enrollments already deleted, if you run a subsequent feed with a batch_mode_enrollment_drop_status of "inactive", will it mark any currently active students missing from the feed as "inactive" and leave the previously deleted enrollments alone (the desired behavior), or will it go back and change the revive the previously deleted enrollments status to "inactive", thus pulling all the previously deleted students back into visibility (the undesired behavior) ? Thank you.
