With over 15 years of experience in higher education, I am currently the Assistant Director of Digital Innovation at Wilmington University. In my role, I oversee a dedicated team of systems technologists who manage various educational technology systems utilized by students, faculty, and staff. This includes the university’s learning management systems, online proctoring system, plagiarism detection system, online video platform, web conferencing system, non-credit student information system, and third-party systems that integrate with our learning systems via LTI or API. My passion lies in learning, innovating, designing, and providing support for technology systems while solving problems and fostering personal and intellectual growth. I firmly believe in the transformative power of education to make a positive impact on the world. In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and personal growth. I constantly seek out new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. By continuously challenging myself, I strive to model the importance of intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset.
