I would like to take this idea one step further. When using the copy to or the importing feature all items should default to having the due date REMOVED. The option to keep due dates should be the selection made if necessary. The check mark box to remove due dates is 95% of the time overlooked by teachers and this causes more problems than I can count. Teachers import items continuously from past courses, and when the gradebook settings in their current courses are set to apply the 0 to missing assignments, this causes havoc in their gradebooks that is not easily fixed. (short of deleting everything, duplicating assignments or manually removing the 0's one by one! Please, Please, Please make the default be to remove all due dates when importing or copying to. (Any assignments that come in without due dates are easily fixed with this option and 99.9% of the time teachers are changing these due dates anyways).

We also have this problem in a course, the teacher added additional content and it did not update in the pacing area. She dis-abled course pacing and then re-inabled it and it is now no longer working at all. Is there anything she can do to get this reset?

Please make this an option, I get numerous requests from teachers to sort students in the gradebook by first name. This should be an easy fix. Thanks!

When a student is using the List View on their dashboards and they click on an assignment that has been graded with a 0 (either because the teacher manaully gave them a 0 or the late policy in the gradebook gave them an auto 0) they are directed to the preview page for the assignment and not the assignment itself. To get into the assignment they would have to click on the breadcrumb title above or go to modules. This is very confusing for students, and most of them think they are unable to access the assignment. If they go to Modules or to the Assignment index page and click on the same assignment they can get right in with no problems. Should this not function the same regardless of where they are accessing the assignment? This change would be helpful for students and teachers. I feel they should only be getting the preview page if they had submitted something prior. Thanks!

I am finding that if you have your assignments set to unlimited attempts, the re-submit feature is not available in the speedgrader. This only functions if you have set the attempts to limited and put in a # for how many times students can submit. It really would make sense to also allow this to function with the unlimited setting as well. Help fix this please!

Yes, Yes, Yes, this needs to be added so that teachers can have consistency in the gradebook. This is very frustrating for most teachers and LTI's are widely used. At the very least Canvas needs to add an option to apply a missing score status to all ungraded or unsubmitted assignments up under the three dots so teachers can do this if needed. That would at least help simplify the process.
