Can't have a quiz and comments on the same Studio video assignment? It appears to me that you can either use the quiz function, or the comments function, in an embedded studio video, but not both at the same time, is this true? |

Is there a way to do a global copy + paste to get all the comments back into a video after it has been added to a course? I spent almost 4 hours watching a long video and providing comments and context, only to find that those comments are not available from inside the course.

This should be a top-priority fix. I just caught a student cheating on her final exam but only because she had also plagiarized the final paper, which I graded the day before. I managed to catch the problem with the exam (a short-essay question) by creating an assignment in my Sandbox and pasting her text into that assignment in "student-view" mode, then exiting student view to see the Turnitin score. But that was very time consuming and not a good fix. Lockdown browser is not a sufficient fix for this problem either. I wanted my students to have access to digital files that were our readings, lecture powerpoints, and their course notes. With a lock-down browser they can't access other apps.

@everson_50 , I gave students an assignment recently, but one student emailed me her submission. She said that even though she tried to submit it at 11:50, Canvas had already closed the assignment (which was due at noon). I asked her to check the time zone on her computer. Turns out her computer was new and was still set to the incorrect time zone. So, I guess when it comes to your students who are working remotely, the Canvas settings apply to their individual computer, not to your time zone.
