1:1 Chromebook Environments Feature Idea

If you are in a 1:1 chromebook or GAFE environment I recently posted a feature request that would apply to your students and teachers. If you feel like the feature would be helpful please give it an up vote. I've provided the feature description below:
As of right now instructors can choose the File Upload option as a quiz question type. This is a nice feature. However, in our environment our students are using Chromebooks and working out of Google Drive. Since a Google Doc (.gdoc, .gsheet, gslides, etc.) is not actually a file, students cannot upload their documents to submit as a quiz answer. Students must go through the extra steps of downloading their Google Docs as either a .pdf, .doc, .xls, .ppt, etc. It would be very helpful if the File Upload quiz question worked more like the assignment file upload option. In this option, as long as students have Google Drive enabled as a Registered Service, they have an extra tab that allows for the submission of Google Documents directly from their Google Drive. Developing this feature would save time for both students and teachers in a chromebook or Google Apps For Education environment.
