Has anyone ever embedded/used a Kahoot in Canvas? Please describe how you did it.
Hi Christine Morgan
Never until now! I had not heard of Kahoots until your inquiry, so I looked it up, created an account, then created a simple Kahoot quiz to experiment with.
First thing I noticed was a share link, so I copied that link and dumped it into an iFrame generator Online iFrame Generator - iFrames Generator , then I copied the embed code created by the generator, opened a page in my Canvas Sandbox, opened the HTML Editor and pasted the embed code in and Whammo Zammo - an embedded Kahoot! See screenshot below.....
I hope this helps, and thanks for turning me on to a new toy!
Back to the drawing board. While I can embed a Kahoot, I am struggling with getting it to work. In fact, I am struggling with it on their website. May be linked to the fact that a Kahoot is designed to be used by multiple players. I will continue to experiment and get back to you.
Thank you for trying.

Thank you for telling me about the link. I copied the link and then placed
it into a quiz using the link option. Students can work in pairs or small
groups to have questions and the ability to answer them or I can project it
and the students can use computers or phones to play. I made sure it was
not a graded quiz and that all of these requirements would be turned off.
I can still have the feedback/data sent to me through my Kahoot account.
If anyone knows of a better way, please let me know.

I suspected yesterday, that it might be some minor issues like just a single player, and that turned out to be the case on further testing, and the embed worked as expected when embedded into a Canvas page.
Neat tool, and I have to play with it more.
Again, thanks for sharing this.
Glad to help
