are their any partners, pluggins, apps in which a law school could use to link to legal research, westlaw or lexis?
I'm not aware of any integrations specific to legal research. We're always happy to reach out to potential partners to discuss integration and we'll add Westlaw and Lexis to our list. Thank you for the request!
Wonderful Dave Nelson! I just stumbled across this question and wanted to add that a few of us at Touro Law School would be interested in this type of partnership as well. Thanks for reaching out to these companies!
I just came across this post and wanted to say that Georgetown Law is also interested in Canvas integration with Westlaw and Lexis if it would be possible.
I don't know if this is helpful or not, but my school uses Leganto for their Canvas-Library interface, which imght provide some Lexis-type integration, although that's not something I have explored. Here is the page about Leganto as used at my school:
Course Materials Tool (Leganto) - Library Resources in Canvas - LibGuides at The University of Oklahoma Libraries
From the Leganto website, it looks like it should work...?
Leganto Cite It has now been tested to support LexisNexis and ProQuest Summon.

P.S. I should add that the library person who supports Leganto at my school is not active here at the Community but she is active at Twitter if you have questions:

I know there are many, many law schools that would welcome this integration!
Also, specific Bar Prep companies would be very helpful for students.
I agree with Meghan Fitzgerald - I know many professors at my law school who would welcome this integration!
