The assignment that I am setting up is due past the semester completion date in our system.
Linette, I had an Instructor in my office this morning with the exact same question! For the way our system is set up, the only way to do this is to extend out the "End Date" for the class in settings until after the assignment is due. Yet, depending on how your system is set-up, this may or may not work. My recommendation is to contact Canvas Support/Canvas Admin at your specific Institution. If you're not sure who this is or how to do this, then I would recommend clicking the Help link (bottom left) and "Reporting a Problem." Even though this isn't technically a problem, it is an issue that you aren't sure how to work around and should make sure your question gets to the right person/people.
