I am trying to embed a twitter feed to a page, however the embed button does not engage.
That would be your problem. IE/Edge and Canvas do NOT play nicely together. We specifically tell all of the faculty and students at our Institution to never use IE/Edge and Canvas, and instead to use Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. In general though Chrome and Firefox seem to work the best. In this case my recommendation is to try Firefox or Chrome and I bet it will work fine for you!
Luis, I'm not sure what you mean by the embed button does not engage. I'm not aware of an embed button in Canvas that would work for this type of thing.
Here's one suggestion for getting Twitter content into Canvas - Link RSS feed or Twitter for Announcements?
A menu opens "Embed content from Twitter", that includes the twitter ID I wish to embed (@thetaxadvisor), and two buttons that will not engage: see below

Thanks for providing the link. I used it and the buttons were working fine - got the embed code for my twitter feed, etc.
What browser are you using? I just tried it with Firefox and Chrome it worked fine.
I am using IE.
