How to enable Calendar 'repeat' checkbox in Course Settings?

I found instructions on how to repeat an event. However, it states:  "Note: If you cannot see the checkbox, you either selected the wrong calendar course when creating the new event, or you have not enabled the feature option in Course Settings."

 

I can't see the checkbox. Any love on how to "enable the feature option in Course Settings."?

 

I have gone to my specific Course under Settings and have not had luck. Thanks!
