Our elementary teachers are required to teach the same material on the same days, so their lesson plans are similar. The 3rd grade team wants to share their lessons with each other. Is this doable
Deb, the best way to do this is through Canvas Commons. You and your teachers can choose whether you want to make these resources publicly available, or would rather share them privately among a pre-specified group. Please refer to How do I share a course to Commons? and the Canvas Commons Guide for more information.
Absolutely. There's a couple options.
1 - Activate Commons on your instance of Canvas. You'll need to ask your Admin to contact their CSM to have this done. Commons allows you to freely share materials, not only in your community, but in general. This is especially nice for K-12, as there's a ton of material out there, such as worksheets and quizzes that are available for download and use. You can use this to have your third grade teachers share their material (either just to your community, or in general), and the other teachers can then download it into their course.
What is Canvas Commons?
2 - Use the export course function to export a course, then have the other teachers import the pieces they want to use.
