We've recently migrated to Canvas after being with BB and had some quizes and question banks imported. One test contained a Question Group of unsupported Hot Spot questions that weren't identified before the test was published i.e. made available to students. Naturally some students did the test and received the following message:
"This question was imported from an external source. It was a 'Hot Spot' question, which is not supported in this quiz tool."
I went back into the test and replaced that Question Group of unsupported Hot Spot questions, with a Question Group of supported questions. However, when I go back into the quiz - in instructor preview, or in instructor student view - or watch an actual student go in, the old unsupported Hot Spot question still appears despite them no longer being in the test.
Can I replace an unsupported quiz question after a quiz has been started? If not, what might be a work around? e.g. delete the test and redeploy?
