Published/unpublished content when importing

When importing content from a previous Canvas course, content in the new course appears to keep the published/unpublished status it had in the pervious course at the time of import.  Is there a way to unpublish the content in the new course with one click rather than unpublishing items individually to start the new year?  I'm hoping someone knows a trick or secret that I don't yet!
