How do i move modules from one course to another?
Hey, Brian! The easiest way is to copy the course, choosing the "select specific content" option. here is a tutorial: How do I copy a Canvas course into a new course shell?
I hope that helps!
Brian, you can import, or copy, content from one Canvas course to another by following the instructions in How do I import content from another Canvas course? This will not have the effect of "moving" the modules; it will simply create a new copy in the destination course. When you do this, make sure to enable the "Select Specific Content" radio button. As you'll see in this guide-- How do I select specific content as part of a course import? --when you select the check box next to Modules, the import should bring with it all of the content within the Modules content group, but when the content selections unfurl, I always select not only the options but also each of the associated content items (pages, quizzes, assignments, et al.) within those modules. It's not necessary, but I am perhaps overly thorough.
And if you truly mean to "move" the content from one course to another, after you've completed the import content process, you can go back to the original course and delete the content you've just copied.
It was much easier in Blackboard. This way is a pain.
