When I first set up the quiz I just put in that the quiz was out of 0 points because I was rushing. Now I can't find the place where I can change that number to make the quiz out of 100 points instead.
Karin, total points on a quiz are determined by the total of the individual questions, so you will not be able to apply points from the top down. If you want the quiz to be worth 100 points, you will need to edit the points for each of the quiz questions so that they total 100.
If you don't mind having the questions shuffled (and I prefer that), you can drag all of the questions into a question group and assign the points that way. If you have 20 questions, create a question group that selects 20 questions each worth 5 points, and drag all of the questions into the new question group. Remember to save and publish. Your quiz will now be worth 100 points.
For additional information, please refer to How do I create a quiz with a question group to randomize quiz questions?
Just to add to this conversation - can you have quiz questions worth .5 point? If so, how?
Yes, Margaret, you can have a quiz question worth 0.5 point by entering 0.5 in the points field for the quiz question or 0.5 in the points field for the question group if you're using question groups in the quiz.
