Once your students were uploaded into the course how or where do you find their username and logins? Thanks!
Hillary Amos, this is completely dependent on whether you added them yourself using a free for teacher course or if you're adding them to an Institutional ran course or if your Institution added the students for you. If you provide more information about how the students were added we should be able to help!
If you click on 'People' inside of the course, you will see a list of people inside of that course their Log In ID listed there. As for passwords, they area managed by your Canvas Admin.
Though a login name can be found in this location for users, the password may not be managed by the Canvas Admin. As Kona Jones noted, the credentials could be handled different depending upon the circumstances on the course, chief among these possibilities is that the course may be a "Free For Teacher" course.
A user may also be setup without defining a password (I've done it) and have multiple sets of login credentials. This could result in a different username being listed in a course than what the student would actually use, though I would imagine this to be a minority situation across all Canvas installations.
Even if it is an institutional account, the Canvas Admin may still have no impact on the login credentials. They could, certainly, set manual credentials for a user, but I believe it would be more common to find that credentials are handled via SSO. This would have their credentials managed by whomever supports their SSO service, whether it be Active Directory or some other means.
