This may have already been answered and I just did not use the correct key terms to search, so I could not find a similar topic.

The issue an instructor brought to my attention concerns when students hover the cursor over their grade in the Total column and see a percentage (the instructor uses total points) that is based on the assignments completed to date, and the students are given the false impression that they are doing better than they actually are. Is there any way to disable this pop-up bubble or is there any way to allow the total column to take into account all assignments other than manually adding zeros to every assignment at the start of a semester?

This is becoming a major issue as some students are falsely assuming that they are doing well enough, despite having the gradebook explained to them and that what they are seeing is not an accurate reporting, that they are assuming that they can safely miss class or not turn in assignments.
