Quiz Differentiation

I am trying to figure out if there is an EASY way to differentiate my quizzes. Ideally I would have two levels...

The first level students would need to score a 7/8 to move on to the next assignment while the second level kids might only need to score a 4/5 to move on. They would essentially be taking the same quiz but the lower (slower working) students would not have to complete as many problems but still have a high bar to clear to open the next assignment.

 

Copying quizzes is cumbersome and duplicates the questions banks (and loses the existing question bank links) so I am hoping to find a solution that minimizes the duplication of effort on my part..

 

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated!
