Is there any way for instructors to export the feedback they've given to students? One of my faculty is asking for such an option so they can track each student's work/progress over multiple years.
This is such a wonderful idea and great use of Canvas. Tracking student growth over the course of time can be done using the ePortfolio. Students can either submit their best work from a course or, as part of the assignment you can require benchmark samples be submitted into the ePortfolio What are ePortfolios for students? . Students can created pages and submit files as well as assignments submitted in Canvas. How do I retrieve assignments from previous courses in my ePortfolio? This ePortfolio will be visible to any instructor who is assigned this student.
In addition, you can view the feedback and assignments given / submitted using the Canvas Interactions Report. You can access this report a couple of different ways. The easiest is to click People --> Click on Student Name --> Interactions Report.
