Hey Canvas Community!

Unplag Team is striving to create an easy-to-use product that is able to enhance productivity and bring positive changes into your educational process. For that reason, we are always glad to hear from you. Heeding users’ wishes, we’ve made a couple of nice winter updates.

Let’s have a look.

Comments visibility

From now on, comments are visible to students only after clicking on the Publish comments button. And the icing on the cake is that a teacher can do more good with it: delete, edit and publish again. NB: a student can see comments only if they’re in the status ‘published’. Call the shots like a pro!  And you can still comment in real-time if you wish.

Standalone + LTI

A new source filter lets you choose the minimum number of words. The default setting is 8. It means that the system won’t show the sources where the similarity of 7 or less words was found.

If to be perfectly honest, we added this feature thanks to your feedback   It's a well-known fact that product success is impossible without continuous improvement of user experience!

System feature

And some good news for Mac users. Now Unplag supports Pages – a text document format. Worth noting, that plagiarism report is shown without styles for Pages documents (plain text).

More gems are coming soon. Follow this discussion to be always well up on Unplag updates!
