External apps (LTIs) such as Office 365 can be added either by a Canvas admin at your school or by individual instructors/teachers. I would recommend that you talk with that person at your school before adding an app because they may want to add O365 at the Canvas account level for all instructors/teachers and vs. at just the course level. Your school may also have policies in place for adding third-party LTI integrations inside of Canvas, but this is something that you could talk to your local Canvas admin about.
