I have a student here at Glenvale Bendigo and the whole of Canvas is zoomed in and too large for him.
How do i change his program back to normal size?
Thanks for your speedy response. It looks as though the student had zoomed in (on the browser) then created the shortcut, and somehow disabled the browser window. I opened chrome, typed in the URL, created a new shortcut, after setting chrome as default app for web, and set a new shortcut from there. All is ok this way.
Thanks again for your assistance
Hi John Winn...
Is the student seeing large icons on the screen that take up the majority of the screen? I've seen an issue reported here in the Canvas Community in the past few weeks that it has to do with the theme that your local Canvas admins have applied. So, you might want to check with them on that. There are two other possibilities I can think of. One is that the student's browser is zoomed in. In the browser, the student can use the keyboard combinations Ctrl+ / Ctrl- to zoom in and out to make things look bigger / smaller in the browser. The other thing to check would be the screen resolution of the monitor the student is using.
Hopefully these are some ideas that should help get you started...please keep us updated, John. Thanks!
