Any idea how to fix this access issue with TurnItIn assignments?
The instructor of the course is getting that message?
Yes, I am the instructor and I am listed as Teacher in the People settings, but for some reason I continue to get the message when opening the settings tab for the assignment.

I would call TurnItIn support. The blue box behind the white one is telling you that it couldn't save some of the settings on the assignment. If your students haven't submitted yet, it might be easiest to recreate the assignment.

I've never seen that one. Teri Ross offers good advice though: As she suggests, I would copy any instructions in Canvas and delete the entire assignment. Then, recreate the assignment in Canvas and in Turnitin.
If the problem persists across assignments (and classes), I would check the email address in your Canvas profile Benjamin Carr. Make sure the email address is your institutional address, and I would delete any other email addresses you have added. If that doesn't work, then I would contact both Canvas and Turnitin support and ask them to sort it out for you.
