I would like to remove the option for students to use HTML or the tool bar when responding to quiz questions, but cannot find a way to make this happen. Suggestion?
At this time, instructors do not have the option to turn off the HTML editor for students when answering quiz questions. I would recommend that you submit a Feature Idea to The specified item was not found..
Just out of curiosity, why do you want this feature disabled for students?
As I mentioned in my original request for information, in some circumstance the ability for a student to change font styles, size, colors, and add images etc. are superfluous to the questions being asked and only serve to make grading a paper more difficult. If I am looking only for a one-paragraph statement on subject X, I don’t want to have the distraction of students embellishing the paper with changes to text formatting and so on. It would not always be the case, but sometime less is more.
My apologies, my explanation of why I would like to remove formatting was in my recommendation to CANVAS rather than on this thread.
