If a student is manually removed from a Canvas course, does that reflect on Catalog? Does the number of registration slots available change?
No, removing a student in Canvas does not remove them in Catalog. I have had this same problem in my courses.
I have called Instructure's Tech Support, and they do not know how to help me either. My case is still open, and I called them about it months! ago to open the case. The student is still enrolled on my records in Catalog.
Tech Support has emailed me a few times telling me that it has been taken care of, but the student is still showing on my records.
Fortunately for us, our courses are open enrollment, no cap on registrations, so it hasn't been an issue for us.
