I have encountered a problem where, if I scan items to pdf and place the pdf in the files of a course for e-reserves, then the pdf scans will be limited to the dimensions of the first page. Meaning that, if the first page of the scan is smaller than the rest, the following scans will be cut off once the extend beyond the dimensions for the first page of the multipage pdf. I could just make sure that the first page is always large in dimensions than the rest of the scans to avoid this issue, but I feel like there must be a simpler way around it.
Similarly, I do know that students can simply download the pdfs themselves, but due to copyright and potential redistribution concerns, I would rather avoid making the downloading be the only available answer for students to view their course materials. If anyone could let me know if they have found a way around this, I'd be forever appreciative. Thanks!
