Canvas Commons has been added on my account and I see it in the "Apps Configuration." It is not on my global taskbar and I don't know where to access it.
Canvas Commons is not an App. If you have access, a link appears in the global navigation bar on the far left. Third item from bottom in screenshot below................
If you don't see it, I would suggest contacting your Canvas Admin to verify access.

We had some users where this was a problem recently. It turned out that while the users were enrolled in courses, they had not clicked the green Accept button on the notifications page to accept the enrollement(s). As soon I I clicked Accept while acting as a user on one of their courses, the Canvas Commons button showed up.
