What are some apps and external integrations that others are using? I know this varies by campus but if there are some really cool ones that add functionality, let's hear about them!
Our institution is also taking full advantage of the CCC's Online Education Initiative's (OEI) "pre-vetted" LTI tools as well. VeriCite, NetTutor, Proctorio, and Zoom (branded as ConferZoom) instead of BigBlueButton for Conferences. We also recommend two LTI's from Etudes; Adjust-All HQ and Course Eval HQ. There are many others, and we strive to compile a list of 508 compliant LTI's whenever feasible, but it's a very dynamic market.
Hi Dave, I would be interested in hearing more about the OEI's pre-vetted LTI process. There have been a lot of questions and interest in what such a process looks like in terms of vetting tools (who does it, how long does it take, what are the criteria, etc.). Adjust-All HQ is a brilliant tool! Not only a time-saver, but needed for consistency!
At Humboldt, our current LTIs are: Zoom, VoiceThread, TurningPoint Technologies (Clickers), Turnitin, Wiris, Cerego, and a number of publisher tools. We also have an initial Request Process in place. I would be interested in how we might refine this to make it more efficient.
Thanks :-) Kim

Dave, does the OEI have a standard, recommended LTI vetting process or something in place that can be shared as a model?
I have requested more detail from the Foundation for CCC's, which handles the RFp process on behalf of the OEI. I will share more soon!

Thanks so much!
Like Dave Stephens, we at Coastline are using the ones "sponsored" by the CCC's Online Education Initiative's (OEI)
Right now the three colleges in our district are piloting UDOIT for Accessibility checking and evaluating Vericite vs. Turnitin for plagiarism checking. Then we have all the miscellaneous ones from publishers (about a dozen).
