How do I move questions from a created quiz to a quiz bank? Is this possible, or do I just need to retype the questions in the quiz bank?
In my experience with course copies- sometimes I've actually had multiple "unfiled questions" banks- either that or perhaps some of the questions not appearing in "unfiled" are in other banks? However, the response from Robbie Grant Admin in the discussion below may address your situation to get all of the questions into a question bank quickly- that would be the easiest solution to this.
How to add questions from a quiz to a question bank?
I believe that when you created the quiz- the question are already in a question bank, mostly likely in "Unfiled Questions".
Access your question banks click on Quizzes (from the left navigation bar in your course), then click on the gear icon (upper right side of page) and select "Question Banks." Unfiled Questions question bank should be at the bottom of the list of question banks. Access the Unfiled Questions and move the questions into the question bank you would like them in. Good luck!
Thanks for the quick reply. However, only some of the questions from quizzes are showing up in the Unfiled Questions bank. I have about 60 questions from quizzes that I'd like to move into banks, and only 20 questions show up in the Unfiled Questions bank. The quizzes have all been imported from a previous semester. Do you know why only some of the questions appear in the Unfiled Questions bank or if there's a way to make the rest of the unfiled questions appear there?
Thank you! I hadn't thought about exporting and re-importing into a question bank. This did the job.
