I appreciate that this is more a device/software question that one particularly about Canvas.
Successful VLEs involve staff collaborating and sharing the best resources to go onto the learning platform. Integrating the platform with office tools such as Microsoft and Google is critical for its adoption and engagement.
Canvas' integration with Google is excellent mainly as it allows staff to upload documents that they shared with others.
Microsofts' integration does not.
Our school which I am sure is not unique, has a huge shared area of resources that everyone contributes too. We have recently given staff their own Surface Pros and placed the entire Shared Area in the cloud.
Has anyone got a solution that allows staff to upload resources from the cloud to Canvas?
It would make my week!
