Retaining the front Page title when used as the Home Page

I am a new Canvas user. I created a front Page, intending to use it as my course Home Page. That is all very easy and straightforward. However, I tried to use a title on the Page that is different from my course title, and it does not seem to show up on the Home Page. It shows up fine when I access it via the Pages Link. However, when I use my front Page as my Home Page, the front Page title is seemingly overridden by the course title. Perhaps there is good reason for this, presuming the Home Page should always show the Course Name at the top. However, I wonder if there is some way to work around the apparent default if I want to use some different verbiage at the top of my Home Page without changing the course title.
