I was seeing whether to change my quiz and deleted some questions, but did not save the new changes because I didn't want to delete the questions, will my 35 questions go back in as long as I don't save the changes.
Hi there Kim Williams Welcome to the Community!
If I'm understanding you correctly, you're asking if you "deleted" the questions in your quiz, but didn't click "Save", will they resurface?
Unfortunately, no. Once you click "Delete" for a question, it's gone. Clicking "Save" helps retain changes to the description and other quiz settings. That's why there is a notification that pops up once you choose to delete a question.
You can recover from this quickly by making use of Question Banks! (What are question banks?) If you save your questions to a question bank, all you need to do is add or remove from an existing question bank, so when its deleted, it's easy to re-instate without having to retype.
Hope this helps! If this isn't the direction you were going for an answer, feel free to let me know and we can try to troubleshoot further and get to the bottom of this for you with the Community's help.
Hello there, Kim Williams...
As I was looking through some of the older questions here in the Canvas Community website, I came across yours, and I wanted to check in with you. I noticed that we have not heard from you since you first posted this question on September 27, 2017 and then received a response from Roxanne Conroy a day later. Have you had an opportunity to review the response that you received from her? Did Roxanne's feedback help to answer your question? Do you have any outstanding questions that still need to be answered? If you feel that Roxanne's feedback has helped to answer your question, please go ahead and mark her answer as "Correct". However, if you are still looking for some help with this question, please come back to this thread and post a message below so that members of the Community might be able to help you further. For now, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered" because we've not heard from you since late September and because there hasn't been any new activity in this thread for quite some time. However, that won't prevent you or others from posting additional questions and/or comments below that are related to this topic. I hope that's alright with you, Kim. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon!
