Just curious, did you remove the Office Mix integration and if not, when do you plan to do so.
We haven't removed the office mix integration, yet, and we don't have a plan
I asked in August and this was what I was told https://twitter.com/AtWorkTweets/status/892828978326765570
Thanks. Have you removed the Mix LTI from Canvas yet? It still works.
I'm very interested in the answer to this question. I'm kinda late to the game and only this fall figured out how to integrate my Office Mix videos with Canvas so that the embedded quiz questions feed right into the Canvas gradebook. I was hoping to roll this out in my spring semester online courses. Now I get wind that Mix is going away (May 1) so I've migrated all my Mix videos to Stream. My question is whether Canvas will have Stream as an app like it has offered Mix.
I'll follow on to my own question. Now that my videos have been migrated to Stream, even if they don't have their former Mix functionality (embedded quizzes feeding directly into my gradebook -- I'm still holding out hope that this functionality returns), I'd still like to embed these Stream videos into my Canvas courses. However, I'm unclear about whether my students will need to create accounts in order to view this content or whether the videos will automatically play just because they are signed in via Canvas. Hate to make them jump through one more hoop. If I just created a YouTube video and embedded, the thing would play without login requirement. Will the Stream video play just as easily for my students on Canvas?
Microsoft has its own idea areas on this topic:
