We have tried a Respondus formatted file, but it is not working. Any ideas?
If you have Respondus software- you can upload directly into your Canvas course. Once you've uploaded your questions into Respondus, this is a video shows the settings of how to import into Canvas: Respondus 4 Videos.
Also this article How do I import quizzes from QTI packages? might help you as well...
Thanks! But this is true of the old quizzing; not of the new Quizzes LTI.
Are you referring to Quizzes.next or the Quizzes LTI in production?
Are these not the same thing?
Quizzes.next is (somewhat) in beta and might be available in 2018. I apologize but Jennifer Lynn I am not sure we are on the same page.
Last week I just took a Respondus file using Respondus and imported it into a Canvas course without any issues using basically the same instructions provided to Leslie above.
Jennifer, Leslie, and Sky, it's easy to get one's wires crossed when we have a current product and a beta product running concurrently! Jennifer, for questions about what functionality will be available in the Quizzes LTI, I suggest you join the Quizzes LTI User Group so you can interact there. I was able to find this piece of documentation in the group: How do I import questions from a QTI package into an item bank in Quizzes.Next?
Thanks, Stephanie. We are part of the beta at UCSC, which is why Jenny is
asking about it. She is unable to import the QTI in question into a quiz
created with the beta software, but is able to import that file into
Sorry for the confusion of asking the question in the wrong place.

Thanks for straightening that out, Leslie!
Hi Leslie Kern
We are also a beta tester for Quizzes LTI, and have noticed that the QTI upload function is not working.
I would go to the Quizzes.Next User Group , and post this as a bug report.
Thanks, Kelly. I did that just now.
