Are live training sessions available through an RSS feed anywhere so we can share in spaces our faculty use?
Hi Thomas Robb - Unfortunately the RSS feed doesn't work with our site! I've asked the developer to remove the RSS option, as it is definitely misleading. I apologize for the inconvenience!
Hi Thomas Robb!
If you log in the training portal at this page https://community.canvaslms.com/community/answers/training/pages/access-training, once you're logged in you'll see the current training offerings. There is a link to an RSS feed there:
This feed does not work. https://www.cysalesteam.com/instructure/rss.xml pasted into an RSS reader does not render the events. Is this something that can be fixed?
Thomas Robb - thanks for letting me know this doesn't work. I'll connect with the provider of the portal and see what I can find out for you!
Thank you Erin Keefe. It would be helpful to have a quick response so we can get the feed live on our pages. Thanks so much for your response.
That's too bad. BTW, I just modified my grammar mistakes on the original post and apologize to any grammar gurus out there!
Would it be possible to ask your training vendor to fix the feed, rather than simply removing it? One of our biggest hurdles for us is awareness, and we want these great live sessions available in a place our faculty are used to looking for answers. We are working on a new landing/login page for our users, and it would be EXTREMELY helpful to have these trainings feed into that site so our instructors know they can register and sign up for them.
Hey Thomas Robb we are definitely working on updating our current training portal so, while we won't be able to put resources into rendering the calendar publicly (or semi-publicly) as it currently stands, we will take this into consideration as we work toward building a new portal. Thank you!
