Will SpeedGrader be added back to the assignment menu?

It was pointed out to me that SpeedGrader is missing from the assignment menus in the new Gradebook, and that's kind of a bummer. The only thing the Canvas Release: New Gradebook document has to say about it is "Currently, SpeedGrader can only be accessed through an individual student’s grade detail tray". I'd like to know if SpeedGrader was removed from that menu for a particular reason, or if it's just a symptom of the beta-ness of New Gradebook.
