How can students get access to completed interactive kaltura video quiz responses after the quiz deadline/closing date?
First, I want to apologize for your question sitting in the community for so long without a response.
Second, It looks like you have stumped the Canvas Community. Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment.
I see a lot of varied comments about the Kaltura Video Quiz. We are having a terrible time with it. Our continuing education units must be able to verify users have watched the entire video without skipping ahead. We use the video quiz player with a final question at the end of the video to verify and submission unlocks the next module. It has been a disaster. We are currently dealing with Kaltura.
Do you know of any alternate way to verify a user has watched an entire video?
Hi Jessica...My wife and I both teach online courses at Florida Gulf Coast University and have been using the Kaltura interactive video quiz function for some time now. We have had numerous problems similar to yours and others as we embed dozens of these quizzes in each of our courses. Students bring these issues to our attention and I have brought them to the attention of our e-learning folks here at the university. They, in turn, notify Kaltura about them. Imho, the LTI app is not robust, consistent, and, therefore, not trustworthy. Our students' frustration is only exceeded by ours!! My unsolicited - or perhaps it is?!? - advice? Search for another similar app. Arc may be the one. I've gone through a presentation and it looks promising. Let me know how you end up...Mark
