Is there a way to select previously selected question bank questions for a new exam?

The title is complicated, and so is the question. Or maybe it just seems so to me, because question banks/groups are my Achilles heel.

Imagine this scenario: A teacher has question banks for each chapter. Let's say all the question banks have 50 questions. For each chapter, the teacher creates a quiz, and selects 10 of the questions using "Find Questions". Now it is the end of the semester, and the teacher is creating the Final Exam. She wants to use the question bank questions again, but she wants to make sure she only selects the questions she already selected for the chapter quizzes.

Is there a simple way to do it? Other than looking back through all the individual quizzes? I know you can create a quiz from other quiz questions if you choose from "Unfiled Questions". But the "Unfiled Questions" bank only contains questions CREATED in a quiz, not questions SELECTED from existing banks.

All thoughts and workarounds appreciated...
