Canvas is not sending email. No emails are going out to the new students I am adding or confirmation emails for adding emails to users. Does anyone know why?
Thanks I figured it out. The mail server was not configured.
Eliyahu, welcome and let’s see what we can do to help! Are you a teacher adding the students directly to your course manually? Are you using free for teacher or the paid version of Canvas? Are you an Admin - and if so how are you adding the students to Canvas and then the courses? How do you know students aren’t getting the emails?
The answers to these types of questions will help us to better help you figure out the problem!
