How do I archive a past course so it is not showing up with my current courses...thanx
Hi sandy. I have a quick question. Are you looking to change your settings so that a class no longer appears on your Dashboard or Course tabs? If so you can accomplish this by making the courses you want to appear "favorites". The link below describes how to accomplish this.
How do I customize my Courses list as an instructor?
I hope this helps!
Eric I have no stars and no courses listes on left side…my classes show up as ‘cards’ (pictures…help!! Sandy
Sandy, normally when you are on the Dashboard tab at the left side of the screen the courses will appear as cards but if you click on the "Courses" icon beneath this it will pop up a list of all of your active courses. Beneath this is a link called "All Courses" (see images below). Clicking on this would then display the full list of courses where you can star those you wish to be favorites. Do you not see the Courses icon (little book) in the left-side (global navigation) pane? I haven't run into this not appearing before but will explore more if you don't see this.
Thanx Eric…I will check and let you know…Sandy
Thanx Eric…that worked!! May I ask you…I have opened a discussion and all seems fine on my end…my students are saying they are receiving a message that the module has not yet been opened and they cannot see the question…any thoughts??? Sandy
Glad that worked! About the discussion, check and see if the module and discussion question are published in the Modules tab (see below..both the module and discussion here are unpublished). How are students accessing the discussion now (assignment list, syllabus tab, discussion tab, etc.)? In my testing, if the discussion is published but the module it is in isn't, there are still ways to get to the discussion without receiving an error message. Do you happen to have a "lock until" date set on the module or pre-requisites set to access the module?
I will check…
Hi Sandy. I thought I would check in and see if you found a solution to the module issue you were experiencing.
Thanx Kona!!! I am good to go…thanx so much for taking time to help me…Sandy
Thanx Eric…all is in order…thanx so much for all your help…Sandy
