This is my second-semester using canvas and one of my favorite features was the calendar although it is not loading my new class's work. Just wondering how I could fix that.

I am assuming you are a student, and as a student there really is only one thing you can fix, and that is to make sure that your current course is selected on the Right where it says, "Calendars". Simply click the checkbox for your current course. You can learn more at How do I use the Calendar as a student?
If, after selecting the appropriate Calendar, you still do not see due date entries (and more depending on your course) for your current course, then you need to contact your instructor. Typically this means your instructor has not entered due dates for any graded activities. And, depending on the course and your school, your instructor may not be using Canvas at all. At our school, our integration is set to create term shells for every course in our schedule, but not all of our faculty use Canvas.
