I want to post my Power Points for students to be able to review. I have seen how i can create a group under "files" and I have uploaded. How do I "publish" so a student can access?
Hi Christopher Bell
The short answer is that unless you restrict them, unpublish them or hide the course navigation link to Files, then yes files are available for your students to view. Learn more at Files
However, here is a better way to make your content available to your students - use Modules! With modules you can present your content to students in the order you wish to present it, and organized by units of student. Learn more at Modules.
Here is a Blog posting I made ages ago about organizing your Modules: Share UDL Course Design Tips, Tricks, and Techniques
I hope this helps,
Thank you! Perfect help. And very timely I might add ☺

Just glad you got the answers you need,
Kelley – how do I “un-Gray” and/or add the “module” tab to the Student View. It is not showing on any of my class pages?
Thank God, an easy question! Until you create your first module in the Module's index page it will remain grayed-out but still accessible to you.
If you have created your first module in there, and it is still grayed-out.....
